Mixed methods research (MMR) is a rapidly growing methodology in social science, education, public health, and public affairs research. The purpose of this two-credit course is to provide graduate (master & doctoral) students with foundation and hands-on practice of mixed methods data using software while examining the types of research questions that can be answered by mixing quantitative and qualitative methods of inquiry. This course will discuss different ways to integrate and analyze mixed methods data and examine critical issues relevant to MMR data analyses, interpretation, and presentation (MS-A,B &E). |
